Artificial Intelligence (AI) surrounds us, from the apps on our phones to the algorithms that dictate what we see in social media feeds. And even though it's not yet able to take full control over our daily lives, AI is beginning to play a larger role in revolutionizing the way we work. From monitoring employee performance and alerting managers when it's time for a performance appraisal to help create diversified labor by filling jobs with qualified applicants irrespective of gender, race, or nationality. Moreover, AI has come far from being an automation tool for simple tasks such as sorting mail.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is already being used widely in education, and there are great opportunities to develop its use further. AI has the potential to improve teaching and learning by providing teachers with data-driven insights into their student's performance and behavior that was previously inaccessible. However, this technology will not replace teachers but instead will help them focus on improving their pupils' relationships with each other and with technology.
