Recently, WhatsApp has released a feature where messages disappear when viewed, and they call it to view once mode. This feature was well-liked by Users, and most of the users liked it because it helps someone keep their privacy.

Every chat app should inspire users through its User experience. The most helpful feature in communication is reactions to messages. We have a reaction feature on message feature on Messenger, Slack, Skype, Discord, and other popular chat apps. But unfortunately, this vital feature is missing in WhatsApp, making conversations hard. Consider this below example:

Someone announced that they were going for a trip, and the interested ones replied with thumbs up. Other teammates who were not interested received four notifications. But they should get only one, and they can see reactions to see who is coming.

This article is for only group conversations; 1v1 conversations easily catch up with messages. But in groups with more than ten members, Catching up with the latest messages becomes a headache when people reply with 👍 on each message. So Whatsapp engineers should think about this feature.
